As the season wraps up, the Dragons have revealed their list of departures, and it’s a mix of bittersweet farewells and fresh adventures for our beloved players.
🚀 The talented Aaron Wainwright is off to join Leicester Tigers, closing a remarkable chapter at Rodney Parade. The Wales No. 8 has been a stalwart for the Dragons, stepping on the field 136 times and giving us unforgettable moments. Wishing him all the best as he takes on this new challenge!
💔 In a heartfelt goodbye, club centurion James “Jumbo” Benjamin is hanging up his boots after 13 incredible seasons. A versatile player, Benjamin’s been everywhere from hooker to the back-row, even a stint as a centre! His commitment on and off the field has left an undeniable mark, and he’ll surely be missed at Rodney Parade. Cheers to a wonderful career, James!
✈️ Mackenzie Martin is spreading his wings and heading to France, signing with Beziers for next season. After leaving a solid impression in just four appearances on loan from Cardiff, we’re eager to see him shine abroad.
🚶♂️ Joining the list of leavers are Ewan Rosser, Luke Yendle, Niall Armstrong, and George Roberts. Each one has brought their unique flair to the team, and they will always remain a cherished part of the Dragons family.
