Hey everyone! We’ve got an important update about everyone’s favourite rock legend, Bonnie Tyler. The iconic singer, known for her powerhouse hits like “Holding Out For A Hero” and “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” is currently in recovery after undergoing emergency surgery this week.
Bonnie, who spends much of her time between beautiful Faro, Portugal, and her beloved Neath Port Talbot, had to undergo surgery for intestinal issues. To aid her recovery, she was placed in an induced coma at a Portuguese hospital but her team assures us she’s on the mend.
Her agent shared a heartfelt message on her social media, thanking all of Bonnie’s fans for their “incredible outpouring of love” and support during this challenging time. They ask for privacy but vow to keep us posted with any new updates. 💌
Though Bonnie’s facing a rough patch with her health, she’s been a true warrior over the years. Never one to slow down easily, she recently shared that she does home Pilates to stay stage-ready. Her last album dropped in 2012 and she doesn’t plan to retire anytime soon – the stage clearly keeps calling her back!
