π¨ Shocking Discovery in Swansea! π¨β£

Imagine waking up to find your beautiful Christmas tree farm turned into a dumping ground for cannabis plants! That’s exactly what happened to Robert Morgan of Gower Fresh Christmas Trees. π²π²β£
Picture this: workers arrived on Tuesday morning to find dozens of black bin bags scattered across the fields. Inside? Roughly 120 cannabis plants and other paraphernalia! ππ§€

Robert, who loves keeping his farm and the Gower area pristine, called this act “mindless.” While dealing with rubbish, glass, and occasional campers isn’t new for him, this was a first. “It was a real eye-opener,” he confessed. π©β£
Now, the responsibility and cost of cleaning up this mess fall squarely on his shoulders. And in today’s challenging farming climate, it’s an expense he could surely do without. πΈ

“The police have been notified,” Robert explains, “but since this happened on private land, we’re faced with the clean-up bill.” πβ£
Despite the situation, Robert’s sense of humour remains intact. “Farmers are resilient problem solvers, but the real message here is: ‘look after your countryside’.” πΏ
With 49 reindeer on the farm, any careless acts (like leaving gates open) could be disastrous. Robert hopes for more nighttime policing in Gower, a place he describes as increasingly lawless. π¨
South Wales Police are on the case, investigating the illegal dump. While the local authority is set to help, it leaves us asking β who would do such a thing? Remember, our countryside is precious. Letβs keep it clean and beautiful! ππ
