🎉 Exciting news for football fans and Gethin Jones admirers! 🎤 BBC Morning Live’s own Gethin Jones is stepping back from the screen to embrace a special role once again—10 years in the making!
🕺 Gethin’s picking up the mic this Friday at the Celtic Manor Resort, hosting the Football Association of Wales’ massive 150th Anniversary and Euro 2016 Reunion Gala. Cast your mind back to that spectacular summer a decade ago when Wales carved their place in football history, storming into the semi-finals of the Euros! 🇽🇪
The celebration promises a night filled with nostalgia, laughter, and untold stories, with players and their legendary manager joining in to relive the unforgettable journey. What a flashback to that night even the likes of Gareth Bale and Ashley Williams won’t forget! 💫
But that’s not all for Gethin—his adventure continues! This summer, he’s also stepping up as Team Wales’ chef de mission for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Talk about a busy few months! 🏅
Gethin is all about leadership, storytelling, and being the vibrant bridge connecting athletes, staff, and the whole of Wales. Going back to uni for a Master’s in Sports Directorship sure proves his commitment. He’s ready to inspire and lead the team to greatness!
Wishing Gethin the best as he balances these exciting roles. Let’s celebrate Welsh football royalty and all the memories that come with it! ⚽ #WalesFootball #Euro2016 #GethinJones #TeamWales #CelticManorGala
