🚨 Heads up, Cardiff! 🚓
This week, police in Cardiff’s Gabalfa area will have extra powers to tackle anti-social behaviour. In response to rising reports of disturbance, a Section 35 dispersal order has been put in place, covering Gabalfa Avenue, Aberporth Road, Waterston Road, and Cathedral View. This order allows officers to direct anyone causing, or likely to cause, harassment, alarm, or distress to leave the designated area—failure to comply may lead to arrest.
The order went live at 4pm on Tuesday and will last for two days. During this time, expect an increased police presence as they work to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort in the community.
