Exciting times ahead for Denbigh High School! 🎉 The school is set for a huge transformation with a £20 million refurbishment. Denbighshire County Council has given the green light, appointing Wynne Construction for the project. This refurbishment is part of a wider plan under the Sustainable Communities for Learning Programme, with 65% of funding from the Welsh Government and the rest covered by the council.
Glen Williams, the Headteacher, couldn’t be happier, stating, “This is excellent news! It’s an exciting time for Denbigh High School and the community it serves.” The modernisation aims to create a supportive environment that enhances learners’ progress and future prospects.
Councillor Diane King highlights the impact, noting that these improvements will ensure top-notch education for generations in Denbigh. With carbon net zero enhancements also in the mix, this project is as forward-thinking as it gets.
Stay tuned to see this transformation unfold! 🌟
