🚨 A simple act of dishonesty led to a visit from the police for Raymond Harry from Coedpoeth, Wrexham. The story? A dropped wallet, a lot of cash, and some sneaky business. 💼

It all started outside Minera Tyres when a customer accidentally left his wallet behind. The CCTV catches Raymond picking it up but not turning it in. 🚗 Instead, the wallet found a new home in his kitchen cupboard!
Police, tipped off by the wallet’s rightful owner, paid Raymond a visit. Despite CCTV evidence, Raymond insisted he had no idea what they were talking about. Officers didn’t buy it—they could see him trying to stash the wallet out of sight! 🕵️♂️

After a thorough search and recovery of the wallet, cash, and even the owner’s ID, Raymond stuck to his story, claiming he planned to return it. But lying didn’t help his case, and he was found guilty of theft.

His sentence? A conditional discharge for two years, £50 compensation to the victim, and £85 in legal costs.
