🚨 Just weeks after his release, a Cardiff man is back in prison! 🚨

Kieron Desmond, from Grangetown, found himself in hot water again shortly after getting out of jail in mid-March. By early April, police were chasing him down as he zipped through Cardiff’s Heol Trelai on an electric motorcycle. When confronted, he made a run for it, tossing a rucksack into a garden. 📸
What did the police find inside? Over £2,000 worth of cannabis in separate little bags, £35 in cash, an iPhone filled with incriminating messages about dealing drugs, and a list of addresses that seemed to be for his “customers.” 📱💼

Desmond had been spotted in dark clothing and was already on the police’s radar. At just 29, and with a list of prior offenses, he’s no stranger to trouble. But this time, the Cardiff Crown Court wasn’t so lenient. 🏛️
Even though his barrister revealed that he turned his life around while in custody, claiming he overcame issues with alcohol and drugs, the judge was not impressed. Desmond is now facing a year and four months behind bars.
Judge Felstead couldn’t hide his shock, stating he was “staggered” by how quickly Desmond returned to his old ways, just weeks after his release. 🚔
This case highlights the cycle of crime and challenges of reform. Let’s hope Desmond can truly find his path next time. #CardiffNews #CrimeInCardiff #BreakingNews
