🏉 Big News for Ospreys Fans! 🏉
The Ospreys are gearing up for an exciting season and they’re on the hunt for some serious talent! Word is they’re eyeing former Wallabies captain Liam Wright, and there’s plenty of buzz about this potential signing.
Wright, known for his leadership and skills as a dynamic ball-carrier and outstanding lineout forward, could be just what the Ospreys need. After a stint as a backrow specialist coach with the Australian Rugby Union Academy, he’s ready to make a comeback.
Despite a shoulder injury setback that saw him leave the Queensland Reds in 2025, Wright remains a top candidate alongside Lachlan Swinton, another former Australian international. If this deal goes through, it would be a huge boost for the Ospreys as they look to fill key positions, including blindside flanker, second-row, and more.
Losing stars like Jac Morgan and Dewi Lake, along with others moving on, the team is ready to invest and build a robust squad. Could Wright be the missing piece of the puzzle?
Stay tuned, Ospreys supporters, because this could be a game-changer for the 2026/27 season! 🏉🔥
