🎉 What a whirlwind summer it’s been for Cardiff City’s promotion heroes! From tying the knot under the Spanish sun to living it up in Vegas, the Bluebirds have made the most of their off-season after clinching a return to the Championship. Here’s a quick round-up of what’s been going on:
💍 Love was in the air as David Turnbull said “I do” to partner Chloe in a picturesque Mallorca ceremony. Friends, family, and a lively sax player made it a day to remember.
🎊 And then it was off to Vegas for some of our boys! Ryan Wintle, Isaak Davies, and a few others celebrated in style, hitting the famous clubs and toasting their successful season.
😢 But it’s not all been smooth sailing. In a surprising turn, midfield dynamo Wintle announced his difficult decision to leave the club, sharing his heartfelt goodbye to fans after a stellar season.
⏱ On the bright side, Cardiff wasted no time securing key players. Nathan Trott is now permanently between the sticks for us, and Joel Bagan and Perry Ng have secured their futures here, ensuring stability as we head back into Championship battles.
🌍 International call-ups have been the cherry on top for some of our lads. Joel Bagan earned his first senior call-up for Ireland, while several others joined Wales for friendlies. A bummer for Alex Robertson, though, who’s missing out on the World Cup. But no doubt he’ll bounce back stronger!
🔜 As the dust settles, it’s all eyes on the Championship challenge ahead. Pre-season prep kicks off soon, and our promotion heroes are ready to tackle it head-on. Up the Bluebirds! 💙
