⚠️ Unleashing Chaos: Brutal Attacks by Rhyl’s ‘Vicious Animal’ ⚠️

Colin Campbell, notorious in Rhyl for a string of shocking street attacks, has been branded a “vicious animal” by a judge. Over four brutal months, Campbell assaulted five unsuspecting strangers, leaving a grim trail of devastation and nearly claiming lives.
His rampage began last year in March outside the Lorne Pub, when a simple pub dispute escalated into brutal violence, sending an innocent man to A&E with a fractured skull and brain bleeds. Imagine being out for a night with friends and ending up fighting for your life. Horrifying!

His second known attack was caught on CCTV; the victim, a worker from the South, was enjoying a night out when Campbell’s sucker punch knocked him blind in one eye. Just reading this sends shivers down the spine.
Then, in Chester, during the wee hours of May, he viciously headbutted a man outside a bar, proving his penchant for violence was far from over. Onlookers tried to help but were met with his fists instead.
The final straw came in July, when Campbell’s attack on a dad-of-three had a catastrophic outcome. This poor man now lives without the memory of his loved ones, requiring constant care – truly heartbreaking.
Campbell admitted to grievous bodily harm and other charges, leading to a seven and a half year sentence. But this may not offer much solace to those carrying both the visible and invisible scars of his atrocities.
It’s terrifying to think such violence was primarily fuelled by alcohol, impulsive behaviour, and a history of aggression. Although he’s behind bars now, many wonder: could this happen again?
