“Royal Mail Unveils Unsettling Four-Digit Alert Code for Packages – What It Means for Your Deliveries”

🚨 Heads up, folks! Big changes are coming to Royal Mail’s delivery service, and there’s one four-digit code you definitely don’t want to see pop through your letterbox!

Royal Mail has announced a new delivery schedule as part of its modernisation plans. Second-class letters will now only be delivered on alternate days, and those bulk business letters, like your bills and statements, are shifting to a three-day delivery target. But don’t worry, first-class mail will still reach you six days a week, from Monday to Saturday.

Now, here’s a little tip: if you ever find a ‘P739’ card, it means a delivery attempt was made but missed. You’ll need to head to your local sorting office to collect it yourself, unless you manage to arrange a redelivery.

Traffic Updates
With all the changes, Royal Mail aims to save up to £425 million annually as letter revenues have significantly decreased from £6.9 billion back in 2008 to just £3.7 billion!

Keep an eye out for leaflets arriving soon with all the details, and make sure you’re up to speed so you don’t miss out on any important posts! 📬✨
