🚴♂️ Exciting news for Rhondda Cynon Taf! A brand new walking and cycling route is stepping up between Treherbert and Treorchy! 🌳🚶♀️
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is buzzing with plans to make our area more active and eco-friendly. They’ve started looking into phases two and three of this fantastic new active travel route, focusing on the stretch from Penyrenglyn Primary School towards Treorchy.
The consultation for these stages will be live from 7th July to 21st July. It’s your chance to voice your thoughts and help shape the future of local travel! 🗓️🗣️
This next phase stems from last summer’s consultation, which involved residents in planning the route from Treherbert Railway Station to Penyrenglyn Primary School. Now, thanks to the Active Travel Fund support, design work is underway for the following sections.
Fancy having a say? You can participate via an online survey, email, or good old-fashioned post. Visit the council’s website for more details or pop by The Old Library in Treherbert on the 7th July for a drop-in session from 1pm to 7pm.
