A tense courtroom drama unfolded at Swansea Crown Court as a teenager denied attempting to murder his teacher with a kitchen knife. The young defendant stood firm against allegations of an “attempted murder” after a violent incident at Milford Haven School back in February.

History teacher Vicki Williams sustained injuries to her head, hands, and back but survived the alleged attack. The prosecution accused the boy, who was 15 at the time, of plotting and executing a deadly assault, claiming he brought the weapon specifically to harm Ms Williams.

However, the defence painted a different picture, asserting that the teenager simply wanted to show off to his friends, and that the injuries were unintentional. During the intense proceedings, the teenager frequently refuted claims of intent to kill, even as the prosecution argued that it was only because Ms Williams fought back that she’s alive today. He maintained his innocence, repeatedly stating he never meant harm.
The jury has already heard testimony from Ms Williams herself, detailing a chilling account of her attacker’s “hatred-filled” gaze. Forensic evidence also supported her story—though the possibility of accidental injuries during a struggle couldn’t be completely dismissed.
As the courtroom sessions concluded for the day, the defendant showed remorse but stuck to his narrative, denying all accusations of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, and unlawful wounding. With both sides presenting their closing arguments soon, the tension in the courtroom promises to escalate further. Stay tuned for more updates.
