🚧 Big Changes Coming to Merthyr Tydfil! 🏘️
Attention Merthyr Tydfil residents: there’s a major transformation on the horizon! Trivallis has just announced plans to demolish the old Merthyr General Hospital, which has been standing vacant and unsafe for years. In its place? Much-needed new housing that promises to breathe new life into the area.
This iconic but deteriorating landmark has become a hot spot for crime and vandalism, so Trivallis is prioritising public safety and aiming to meet the community’s growing demand for quality homes. While the hospital holds sentimental value for many, the proposed redevelopment plans to thoughtfully integrate the new residential scheme into the heart of the neighbourhood.
The housing association is committed to engaging with local residents and stakeholders throughout the planning process, ensuring your voices are heard as they embark on this exciting journey to revamp the site.
