This surprising detour happened when the driver took an unexpected turn during their seaside getaway. Thankfully, the tale had a happy ending thanks to some helpful walkers who came to the rescue after a tyre blowout. They assisted in getting the vehicle back on track, literally, on a beautifully relaid coastal path originally designed to accommodate wheelchair users and families. 🌊
Fun fact: The scenic path between Limeslade and Rotherslade was upgraded less than a year ago as part of an £80,000 project to enhance the Wales Coastal Path. No lasting damage was done to the path, and it remains as inviting as ever for walkers and visitors.
🛡️ South Wales Police were alerted but by the time they arrived, the car had already departed. Meanwhile, Swansea Council checked in the next day and found everything shipshape.
