🚨 Rugby Drama Alert 🚨
Big news in the rugby world! Italy’s Head Coach, Gonzalo Quesada, has been slapped with a two-match suspension after breaking World Rugby’s new rules on referee abuse. In a heated response to Italy’s 47-17 loss to the All Blacks, Quesada criticised referee Luc Ramos, labelling his performance as “super poor.” He’s now the first coach penalised under this new policy, designed to curb growing abuse towards officials. Quesada won’t be attending this weekend’s match against Australia. What a twist for the game!
Meanwhile, a young Welsh talent is on the move! Former Wales U20 star Harri Wilde is making headlines by switching sides to Ospreys on a loan from Cardiff. With Mark Jones on the hunt for a fly-half, Wilde’s switch is a timely boost to Ospreys, adding depth and fresh talent. It’s also a win for Cardiff, who gets to see Wilde sharpen his skills in a new environment before he returns. Harri commented, “I’m buzzing to join Ospreys and eager to learn from new coaches and teammates.” Will this be a game-changer for the season? Only time will tell!
