Hollywood heartthrob Adam Garcia recently had a blast in Cardiff, bringing a slice of Tinseltown charm to the city’s famous Coyote Ugly bar. Known for his iconic role in the movie “Coyote Ugly,” Adam couldn’t resist reliving the movie magic, swapping the silver screen for the stage as he stars in “The Bodyguard” at The Wales Millennium Centre. ðŸŽ
As he gets ready to wow audiences from July 20 to 25, Adam reminisced about his love for Wales and the unforgettable moments at Coyote Ugly. “I love coming to Wales,” he shared with a grin. “The people here are brilliant, warm and incredibly welcoming. Cardiff has a wildness that’s truly food for the soul.”
And about those wild nights at Coyote Ugly? “Let’s just say, it gets rowdy,” Adam laughed. Rumour has it he even took a turn up on the bar—who wouldn’t want to see that!?
As well as playing the fearless Frank Farmer, Adam’s also excited about his upcoming tours, including his Irish dance show, Emerald Storm. With a history in hit shows like “Saturday Night Fever” and “Wicked,” he’s thrilled to take on a role that allows him to explore a quieter, more stoic side. He admits there were nerves stepping into the shoes once filled by Kevin Costner, but he’s tackling it head-on with his own unique twist. 🎶
Adam’s co-star Sidonie Smith is stealing the show as Rachel Marron, with powerhouse performances night after night. Adam is in awe of her talent, stating, “Her performance is pure athleticism. Every night, I’m lucky to share the stage with her.”
