Tragic news from Powys: A serious crash on the A438 near Clyro has left one man dead and another airlifted to the hospital. Emergency services rushed to the scene on Thursday afternoon following reports of a two-car collision. Tragically, one of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene, and our thoughts are with their family at this difficult time.
The other driver was taken to the hospital by air ambulance but, thankfully, their injuries are not life-threatening, and they have since been discharged. The road was shut for about nine hours to allow for a thorough investigation and vehicle recovery, but it has now reopened.
Stay safe on the roads, everyone. It’s crucial to remain alert and drive carefully, especially in these busy summer months.
