🚨 Dramatic Rescue off the Coast of Anglesey! 🚤

What started as a typical fishing day turned into a nail-biting adventure for three locals off Aberffraw. Their 33ft fishing boat struck rocks Sunday morning, prompting a swift Mayday plea. In response, HM Coastguard dispatched a rescue helicopter and three lifeboat crews, racing against the clock to save the day!

The trio, two men and a woman, found themselves on a listing vessel as strong waves pushed their boat against the rocks near the famous Church in the Sea. But their quick thinking took them to safety as they scrambled onto the rocks before skilled personnel from Rhosneigr Coastguard Rescue Team led them ashore.
Thanks to the coastguard’s keen eye from above and the relentless efforts of the Trearddur Bay Lifeboat team, all three adventurers emerged unscathed, wearing lifejackets and high spirits. After ensuring they were safe, the Coastguard Team settled them in the village to arrange transport and figure out their next steps for recovering their marooned vessel.
With the tide rising, vigilant Coastguard members watched over the boat to ensure no fuel spills occurred, keeping the coast pristine. As they monitored the situation, they kept HM Coastguard Holyhead informed with regular reports.
Though the cause of the mishap remains a mystery, this rescue is a testament to the power of teamwork and timely responses. Hats off to everyone involved for ensuring a safe outcome! 🌊⛑️
