🏉 Excitement is building as Wales gears up for the autumn internationals under the new leadership of head coach Steve Tandy! 🍂
Taking charge at a critical time, Tandy has already made a strong impression, connecting with clubs and setting the stage for the upcoming rugby action. As the countdown to the November 9th showdown against Argentina begins, the big question on everyone’s mind is: who will make it to Tandy’s first squad?
We’re anticipating a mix of experience and fresh talent. In the forwards, keep an eye on Dewi Lake, Nicky Smith, and rising star Evan Lloyd. Archie Griffin and Dafydd Jenkins could prove pivotal in the pack, while familiar faces like Jac Morgan and Taulupe Faletau are likely to provide stability and skill at the back-row.
In the backs, the return of Louis Rees-Zammit alongside Josh Adams and dynamic talents like Tomos Williams and Keelan Giles promises electrifying performances. Dan Edwards is expected to steer things at fly-half, but will Sam Costelow or Jarrod Evans challenge for that spot? 😲
With a few surprises possible, including a focus on exciting prospects like Morgan Morse and lively half-back Reuben Morgan-Williams, Tandy seems set to rejuvenate the squad with a balance of tried-and-tested performers and fresh energy.
Who do you think will make the cut? Will Tandy’s squad selections bring about a resurgence in Welsh rugby? Let us know your thoughts! 🗣️
