Heartbreaking news from Yr Wyddfa: the body of 27-year-old Kieran from Worcestershire has been found after he was reported missing. The police launched a major search operation when Kieran went missing on Monday, and sadly, his body was discovered on the mountain on Tuesday afternoon.
Kieran was last seen around noon on Monday in the Bwlch Glas area near the Pyg Track, after reaching the summit earlier that morning. Despite concentrated efforts and an urgent appeal from North Wales Police, this outcome is one nobody hoped for.
Chief Inspector Emma Parry extended her deepest condolences to Kieran’s family and expressed gratitude to partner agencies and mountain rescue teams for their support. This tragic event has deeply impacted all involved.
