A beautiful soul taken too soon, Eden’s story is one of strength and inspiration. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in 2020, Eden faced each challenge with courage and grace. Despite being told in 2022 that her cancer was terminal, this incredible teenager defied the odds. She sat her GCSEs, danced at prom, and pursued her passion for animals at Usk College.

Eden’s mum, Tessa, describes her daughter’s journey with a heavy heart, recalling the tender moments they shared. “I held her in my arms until she took her last breath,” Tessa shares, painting a picture of love and bravery. Eden passed away peacefully on September 14th at St David’s Hospice, ensuring her younger siblings weren’t afraid of home during her final days.

Despite the adversity, Eden was determined to live life fully. She loved animals and dreamed of working with big cats. Her vibrant spirit shone through even in her last weeks, when Dreams and Wishes charity brought Christmas early to her with Santa, presents, and even a visit from Minnie Mouse.

Eden left behind a legacy of kindness and resilience. Her love for her family, friends, and animals will never be forgotten. Her dad, Cameron, keeps her memory alive by running the Cardiff Half Marathon in her honour. Let’s celebrate Eden’s life by supporting causes that were close to her heart.
Eden’s strength, humour, and warmth touched everyone she met. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on through the memories and love shared by her family and friends. Rest in peace, Eden. You were truly extraordinary. ❤️
