🎉 Rugby fans, get ready for a thrilling clash! Tonight, the Scarlets take on the Stormers in Llanelli in the United Rugby Championship, and it’s shaping up to be an epic showdown! 🏉
After a rocky start with a defeat to Munster and a cancelled match against Connacht due to Storm Amy, the Scarlets are eager to bounce back. Led by captain Johnny Williams, the Scarlets are energised and ready to “rip into” the unbeaten Stormers. 💪
The challenge won’t be easy, especially with key players like Sam Lousi and Jake Ball sidelined by injury. However, the Scarlet’s line-up sees the exciting return of Springbok hooker Marnus van der Merwe and the addition of experienced Australian lock Steve Cummins to bolster the squad. Supporting them in the pack are Alec Hepburn and Henry Thomas, with a phenomenal back line featuring Joe Hawkins at fly-half and Gareth Davies at scrum-half. The back three of Blair Murray, Ellis Mee, and Tom Rogers promise electrifying play. 🔥
The Stormers, on the other hand, are no pushovers, featuring world-class talent like outside-half Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu who recently shined in the Rugby Championship. With Damian Willemse and Seabelo Senatla in their ranks, they pose a formidable threat. Expect passion, power, and plenty of action on the pitch tonight!
📺 Watch it live on Premier Sports, kick-off at 7.45 pm. Whether you’re tuning in from home or heading to the stadium, this is a rugby match you won’t want to miss! Who are you backing to triumph in this high-energy contest? Let us know in the comments! 👇
