In an unexpected turn of events, 19-year-old Corey Sutton was caught by police with £300 worth of cocaine neatly stashed inside a Kinder egg—a treat that definitely wasn’t chocolate! 🤯 Officers noticed a suspicious smell when they pulled over a car in Tonyrefail, leading to a cheeky response from Sutton. “It’s not mine, boys!” he insisted, even as the surprising discovery was made.

Hidden inside the yellow egg were multiple ziplock bags of cocaine. Officers also found a bag of cannabis alongside Sutton, who admitted it was his. Yet, when it came to the Kinder surprise, he played the denial game insisting, “I didn’t want it in my house.” 🤷‍♂️

After seizing Sutton’s phone, the authorities found several messages that linked him to drug supply activities, dealing in both cocaine and cannabis. Caught red-handed, Sutton eventually pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs, alongside being involved in selling class A and B substances. 💼📱

His lawyer stated that Sutton had turned to dealing after losing jobs, trying to justify his actions with the classic saying, “the devil makes work for idle hands.” But the court didn’t buy it, and Recorder Greg Bull KC ruled the offence “too serious” for anything less than immediate prison time, sentencing Sutton to 28 months.

From a cheeky encounter with law enforcement to a not-so-sweet ending in court, Sutton’s story is a stark reminder of the unexpected turns life can take. Stay safe out there!
