🌼 Calling all green thumbs! Want your daffodils to dazzle next spring? Gardening legend Alan Titchmarsh has the secret to keeping those sunny blooms spectacular. 🌼

As lovely as daffodils are, once their fabulous display ends, they can start to look like a bit of a mess. But don’t reach for the shears just yet! Alan suggests holding off for six weeks before trimming them down. This patience will pay off in tidy flower beds and ensures better blooms next year.

And there’s more! To really boost flower power, Alan swears by giving your daffodils a bit of natural nourishment. A couple of handfuls of blood, fish, and bone fertiliser will work wonders, providing essential nutrients like nitrogen, phosphates, and potash. 🌱
If your daffodils are all leaves and no blooms, they might be suffering from “blindness”. Check if they’ve enough room, sunlight, and good soil. If they seem a bit cramped or shaded, lift and relocate them in the autumn for a fresh start.
Remember, a little TLC now means your daffodils will thank you with a glorious show next spring! 🌿
Happy gardening, everyone! 🌼✨
