🎄 Aldi is spreading Christmas cheer with a giant twist! They’ve just revealed a massive topiary version of Cuthbert the Caterpillar, decked out with baubles, fairy lights, a Santa hat, and festive shoes!

This 8ft tall and 12ft long festive replica of their iconic chocolate cake has been making waves, especially after a cheeky visit to its rival, M&S, in Brighton. Cuthbert enjoyed some Christmas sightseeing around the pier and Royal Pavilion before heading to its new (and final) home in front of the Aldi store on Pacific Drive, Eastbourne.

Julie Ashfield from Aldi shares, “Cuthbert is an Aldi icon, and what better way to celebrate than giving him a festive makeover? After his little tour, he’s ready to welcome shoppers and spread some holiday spirit!”

Surprised shoppers were delighted to see this Christmas spectacle. One exclaimed, “A Christmas tree in the shape of Cuthbert… incredible!” while another added, “A huge Cuthbert tree was not what I was expecting on my big Christmas shop, but I’m here for it!”
If you’re a fan of Cuthbert or just love a festive giggle, head down to see him from 18th to 22nd December. Don’t miss out on this fun Christmas feature and snap a photo with Cuthbert to make your shopping trip extra special! 🎅✨
