🌧️ Heads up, Wales! The Met Office has just issued a 24-hour yellow weather warning for heavy rainfall this Sunday. If you’re in Ceredigion, Conwy, Denbighshire, Gwynedd, or Powys, it’s time to prepare for a soaking! Expect disruptions with flood warnings for roads and potential interruptions to power supplies. 🌧️
Rainfall could reach a whopping 100mm in higher areas, so if you’re on the road, double-check those travel plans. And if your home might be at risk of flooding, getting a flood plan and kit ready wouldn’t hurt. 🌊
Safeguard yourself against power cuts with essentials like torches, batteries, and a mobile phone power pack. The weather can change quickly, so keep updated with the latest forecasts in your area.
This bout of bad weather follows closely on the heels of Storm Bram, which earlier caused serious chaos across the region. Let’s all stay safe and prepared as this wet weekend approaches. Keep an eye on local updates and take care, Wales! 💧🌬️ #WalesWeather #StaySafe #StormReady
