🏉 Exciting times in Welsh rugby! As we gear up for the summer, all eyes are on Louis Rees-Zammit. The speedster’s fitness is a hot topic, but don’t worry, Wales assures it’s just a niggle and he’s available to play! However, the big question remains—where will he line up against Fiji this Saturday? Will he grace the field as a winger or step into the full-back role? 🤔
With the rugby season in full swing, competition is fierce. Attack coach Matt Sherratt has praised the options available, notably mentioning players like Josh Adams and the ever-versatile Blair Murray. It’s a good problem to have with such talented players ready to step in!
In other rugby news, major changes are on the horizon for the Champions Cup. Say goodbye to the 30-year-old pool-stage format and hello to a fresh knockout competition featuring 16 clubs. It’s a streamlined approach that promises more thrilling matches in a reduced timeframe.
And don’t forget, England’s Seb Atkinson is gearing up for a big face-off with South African star Damian de Allende. Inspired by the seasoned World Cup victor, Atkinson is eager to showcase his skills on the field this weekend. 🏆
