🚀 “We love you from the moon.” 🌕
NASA’s Artemis 2 lunar mission made history as the four astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft ventured further into space than ever before! 🚀✨
Launched on April 1st, this 10-day mission marks the first human flight to the moon since 1972. As they orbited the moon, astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch from the US, and Jeremy Hansen from Canada, delivered an emotional six-word message before losing contact with Earth. 🌕📡
During this expected 40-minute communications blackout, the crew experienced the awe-inspiring dark side of the moon and even witnessed a total solar eclipse from a perspective that few have ever had the chance to see. 🌗🌕
NASA confirmed that the spacecraft reached the farthest distance from Earth ever recorded, approximately 252,756 miles, surpassing the record set by Apollo 13 back in 1970. 🌌
Communication has been restored, and the crew is now safely heading back to Earth. Safe travels to these new space pioneers! 👨🚀👩🚀
Stay tuned for more updates on their incredible journey! 🌟✨
