Cardiff City fans were left feeling frustrated as the Bluebirds’ clash with Blackpool ended in a 0-0 stalemate at the Cardiff City Stadium. Despite dominating possession and unleashing over 20 shots on goal, Cardiff couldn’t break through Blackpool’s defence. Here’s a quick rundown of how the team performed:
– **Nathan Trott**: Pulled off a stunning save in the second half, earning a solid 7.
– **Perry Ng**: Engaged in promising attacking plays, even if slightly untidy at times, also a 7.
– **Will Fish**: Won every aerial duel, contributing strongly in defence, a well-deserved 7.
– **Dylan Lawlor**: Showed excellent defensive reading, rated at 7.
– **Joel Bagan**: Was lively and tackled relentlessly on the left, another 7.
– **Ryan Wintle**: Our star man! Energetic and crucial in our best moves, scored a 7.
– **Alex Robertson**: Struggled to deliver the final ball but competed well, scored a 6.
– **Rubin Colwill**: A quieter outing with little to fault, earning a 6.
– **Ollie Tanner**: Showed promise but lacked usual influence, 6.
– **Cian Ashford**: Bright and lively on the left, yet faced frustration, rated 7.
– **Omari Kellyman**: Missed a scoring opportunity but pressed well, earned a 6.
As for the subs: David Turnbull, Chris Willock, Callum Robinson, and Joel Colwill made brief appearances with Turnbull being the most involved.
Despite the scoreless draw, there were moments of skill and effort to highlight. Hopefully, Cardiff can build on this and find their scoring boots soon! Keep the faith, Bluebirds! 💙⚽
