📱🚽#PhoneAddictionAlert: An ‘anti-phone addiction’ advocate has called out Aldi for selling a toilet set that features a smartphone tray! 😲 Spotted on a shopping trip in Reading, Louisa Guise was surprised to see the 3-in-1 set in Aldi’s middle aisle. The product has a smartphone holder, toilet brush, and toilet paper holder. Louisa argues it encourages phone addiction and unhygienic practices! 😷
The author of ‘How to Leave a Group Chat’ believes this reinforces the unhealthy habit of being glued to our phones—even in the loo! 💡 Louisa suggests Aldi should promote items that discourage bringing our phones into the bathroom. She admits we’re all guilty of it at times but stresses we need healthier boundaries.
With society’s growing obsession with smartphones, is this just a sign of the times? Or should we start rethinking products that cater to our phone habits? What do you think? 🤔 Share your thoughts below!
