Exciting times for Cardiff! 🎉 NatWest is set to relocate its Welsh HQ to the vibrant One Central Square. This move brings together their private banking arm, Coutts, and an expanded start-up accelerator hub, all under one roof. By taking over a floor in the bustling 136,000 sq ft building, NatWest is making a bold statement of confidence in the Welsh economy.

Paul Thwaite, NatWest Group’s CEO, expressed their commitment, stating, “Our investment in a new NatWest Cymru head office reinforces our dedication to Wales. By uniting our expert teams and growing our accelerator space in Cardiff, we’re positioned to fuel economic growth and support Welsh ambition.”
Located at the heart of Cardiff’s business district, the new office will provide state-of-the-art facilities for up to 70 employees, complete with client meeting spaces. And yes, they’ll continue offering services in both English and Welsh to ensure everyone feels welcome.

The accelerator hub’s move marks a thrilling new chapter for Welsh entrepreneurs, offering them a dynamic space to connect, innovate, and grow. Siwan Rees, the accelerator manager, is excited about the potential to enhance the entrepreneurial spirit in Wales.
Welsh Enterprise Minister, Adam Price, chimed in on the development, emphasising the importance of a thriving business district and its role in Wales’ economic prosperity. NatWest’s move demonstrates robust confidence in Cardiff and the property market.
With renovations underway, the new offices should be ready by year-end. 🚀 Watch this space as Cardiff continues to boom with business and innovation! #CardiffBusiness #NatWest #WelshEconomy #Entrepreneurship
