Exciting news for Eurovision fans! 🎤✨ Angela Scanlon, known for her fabulous stint on Strictly Come Dancing, is set to light up the Eurovision 2026 semi-finals with her unique commentary style alongside the ever-charming Rylan Clark. 🌟 They’ll be bringing all the glitz and glamour live from the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna.
Angela can’t wait to join what she calls “the greatest party on earth” and has a personal connection to the contest from making childhood scorecards with her sisters. Rylan’s equally thrilled, reminiscing about how a younger him could never have dreamed of being part of such a colossal show.
As Scott Mills steps down, radio listeners can look forward to hearing Sara Cox taking the helm for BBC Radio 2’s coverage of the event. She and Rylan will guide us through the semi-finals and grand final, so you won’t miss a beat!
Mark your calendars for the opening semi-final on May 12 and the Grand Final on May 16. The UK, as part of the ‘Big Four’, has secured a place in the final, and this year we’re represented by electronic artist Look Mum No Computer, aka Sam Battle, with his electrifying tune “Eins, Zwei, Drei.” 🇬🇧🎶
Tune in to the Eurovision Song Contest live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on May 16 from 8 pm. It’s set to be an unforgettable celebration of music and culture. Who are you rooting for? 🙌💃 #Eurovision2026 #AngelaScanlon #RylanClark #LookMumNoComputer
