🚨 Close Call for Beach Campers During Stormy Weather! 🚨

A camping adventure turned into a close call for 20 people on Porth Trecastell beach, Anglesey, amidst the chaos of Storm Dave. As gale-force winds hit North Wales, these campers found themselves at the mercy of a fast-rising tide. The local coastguard, alerted to their precarious position, rushed to their aid to ensure their safety.

The group had pitched their tents in a small bay, blissfully unaware of the amber weather warning issued by the Met Office. The coastguard noted that the tide was perilously close to trapping them without an escape route! With wind speeds reaching up to 93mph at Capel Curig, it was a race against nature.
Upon arrival, the coastguard promptly advised the group of the severe weather conditions and the potential dangers of being cut off by the tide. Thankfully, everyone heeded the warning and decided to pack up and leave the cove for safer, sunnier days. A huge shout out to the quick actions of the coastguard team and the person who raised the alarm – their vigilance ensured that this story ends happily.
Stay safe out there, folks, and always check weather warnings before heading out on a camping trip! Stay informed and always trust your local weather updates. 🌊🌧️
