Tragic news from Beddau as a 27-year-old man, Josef Deniro Ward, was found dead in the back of a car in the early hours of a Friday morning. He was given a lift after a disturbance with several men, and after smoking crack cocaine, he fell asleep in the vehicle, where he was later discovered by a friend. While authorities are still investigating whether his death on June 26th is linked to an earlier village incident, it’s confirmed there was no third-party involvement.

A post-mortem examination was conducted, and investigations continue to understand more about the circumstances leading to his death. Meanwhile, in connection with the prior altercation, five arrests have been made, including charges ranging from affray to grievous bodily harm.
Our thoughts are with Josef Ward’s loved ones during this difficult time. Further details emerged during an inquest, revealing a past conviction of Josef for aiding his father, Brian Ward, previously one of the UK’s most wanted men.

The community is undoubtedly rattled, and more updates are expected as investigations proceed. Stay safe out there, and let’s look out for one another.
