On Sunday evening, emergency services rushed to the scene following concerns about a missing man. Police, aided by underwater search teams, diligently scoured the lake for days, with helicopters overhead and divers below adding urgency to the hunt.
Sadly, on Wednesday, a body was recovered from the waters. While formal identification is pending, the family of the missing man has been notified, and our hearts go out to them during this incredibly trying time. As investigations continue, police have prepared a file for the coroner.
Just earlier this month, this popular lake, which uniquely allows speedboats, was the site of another tragic discovery involving a 21-year-old. It’s a stark reminder of the unpredictable nature of water, even in the most picturesque locations.
