Meet the infamous duo, Kyle Draper (21) and Benjamin Evans (20), who went on a daring car-stealing spree across North Wales and Cheshire! The two were caught after swiping vehicles right from under the noses of Welsh homeowners, including a swanky Audi and a sleek Volvo.
Over just 48 hours in February, these two went on a rampage, leaving authorities hot on their trail. The drama unfolded with CCTV capturing their movements as Draper and Evans, both homeless, cruised through town in stolen vehicles, causing havoc wherever they went.
The game of chase reached its climax when the Roads and Crime Unit spotted the two in their stolen rides. In a dramatic turn, Draper crashed the Audi in Staffordshire, leading to his arrest. Not long after, Evans’s high-speed escape in the Volvo was cut short with another crash in the West Midlands.
Both pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including four burglaries and two thefts. Cheshire Police pulled out all the stops to capture these thrill-seekers, with teamwork and sharp detective work leading to their downfall.
