🏉 Exciting times for Wales Rugby fans! Head coach Steve Tandy is giving the squad a shake-up for the Nations Championship as the team gears up for the match against Fiji this Saturday! After an exhilarating 33-31 victory against the Barbarians, Tandy is ready to announce his trimmed squad today. Starting from a bigger pool of 48, he’ll narrow it down to about 32-34 players. This means, unfortunately, at least 11 more players will be exiting the summer squad, joining Kieron Assiratti, Liam Belcher, and Louie Hennessey, who are out due to injuries. 🚑
The anticipation is building as Tandy is expected to reveal the squad and first team line-up during the press conference later today. Saturday’s match at the Cardiff City Stadium kicks off Wales’ Nations Championship campaign. With a tough schedule ahead, facing teams like Argentina and South Africa, the Flying Fijians could present Wales’ best chance for an opening victory!
Stay tuned for live updates throughout the day and catch every twist and turn as we find out who will be representing Wales on the field this summer. Can Wales kick off their campaign with a win? We’ll find out soon enough! 🏆🇼🇸 #WalesRugby #NationsChampionship #RugbyUnion #GameOn #Cardiff
