Heads up, folks! If you’re planning to travel on the M48 Severn Bridge, there’s been a bit of chaos this morning. A vehicle fire has caused a complete westbound shutdown from England, just past J1 Aust to J2 Chepstow.
Emergency services have been on the scene since 6:15 am, dealing with what’s described as a single vehicle fire. As you can imagine, the traffic is at a standstill and all westbound traffic is being diverted. If you’re heading that way, it’s best to allow some extra travel time and perhaps consider taking an alternative route if you can.
