UK drivers are dreaming big when it comes to the cars of the future! 🚗✨ A recent survey of 2,000 drivers has unveiled some wild and wonderful features they’d love to see: think self-cleaning paint, solar panel roofs, and even levitating wheels! Imagine cruising around with noise-cancelling interiors or pressing a button to tint your windows on demand.
Some of these futuristic ideas aren’t as far off as you’d think. Remember when power steering and electric windows felt like sci-fi? Now, cutting-edge cars are parking themselves and even being driven remotely via smartphones.
A third of the motorists surveyed reckon flying cars could be just around the corner. Yet, interestingly, 35% admit they don’t fully utilise the tech already in their current vehicles. Many are still baffled over how to manage features like switching off passenger airbags or resetting tyre sensors.
This drive towards futuristic features comes as the automotive world surges ahead in technological advancements. While you might not be flying around like The Jetsons just yet, today’s vehicles are becoming high-tech havens, with rapid charging and an 18-speaker surround sound system available in some models.
Even if these sci-fi features aren’t hitting the roads tomorrow, the goal remains the same: making driving as safe and enjoyable as possible with the help of tech. Here’s a sneak peek at the top 20 sci-fi-style tech features drivers are wishing for:
