🐾 **Police Dogs on the Beat at Bridgend Bus Station!** 🚍🐕
Bridgend Bus Station is stepping up security with the help of some furry officers! 👮♂️🐶 South Wales Police have deployed drug detection dogs to patrol the station and tackle crime head-on. These vigilant pups are here to sniff out trouble and keep the public safe from drug-related activities and anti-social behaviour.
In January alone, the town centre reported 122 crimes, including violence, arson, and public disturbances. Acting on public concerns, officials have prioritised safety and are now taking bold steps to transform the bus station into a secure, welcoming hub for everyone.
With kids reportedly causing chaos by climbing on buildings and damaging property, the police are determined to send a clear message: anti-social antics won’t be tolerated. The high-visibility patrols aim to reassure passengers and deter potential criminals from making a scene. 🚔
Police Sergeant Daniel Parry shares, “We want everyone to feel safe at the bus station. Our partnership work ensures we create a secure environment for all users of this vital transport link.” 🤝
Want to chat with an officer while you’re there? Feel encouraged to engage with the patrolling team. They’re ready to respond swiftly to any issues you might face!
It’s time to make Bridgend Bus Station a safe and friendly stop on your journey! 🚌✨
