🔍 **Missing Postal Votes in Cardiff: Quick Update!**

Heads up, Cardiff! With the Senedd election just around the corner, not all postal vote packs have made their way to voters in Caerdydd Ffynnon Taf and Caerdydd Penarth. Over 1,000 packs were missing due to a printing hiccup, affecting those who opted for postal voting. 😱✉️
But don’t worry! The council’s jumped into action. New voting packs are now being rushed out, and council staff are hand-delivering them. If you receive one of these replacement packs, here’s what you can do:

– Hand it back to the staff when they deliver it.
– Drop it off at any polling station by 10 PM on election day.
– Deliver it directly to County Hall before 8 PM on May 6 or by 10 PM on polling day.
– Visit your nearest hub (check opening times and locations online).
⚠️ Note: If you’re away from home without your postal vote, there’s no option for emergency proxies unless specific conditions are met after the proxy deadline. Make sure to check with Electoral Services if needed.
Royal Mail chimed in, explaining that the issue wasn’t on them – the packs weren’t printed and thus weren’t passed on for delivery.
So Cardiff, keep your eyes peeled for those postal deliveries and ensure your vote counts in this crucial election! 🗳️✨
