🎉 Cardiff City fans, there’s plenty of buzz coming from the Bluebirds camp! Ollie Tanner can’t stop praising manager Brian Barry-Murphy and it’s easy to see why. Since returning from a four-month injury, Tanner’s been flying on the pitch with eight superb assists and a goal in just seven matches. 🦅💨
Speaking about his resurgence and the team’s stellar performance, Tanner praises Barry-Murphy’s influence on the squad’s attacking style. “He’s been fantastic, especially during my recovery. It feels great to repay him with solid performances,” says Tanner. Barry-Murphy’s calmness and strategic insight seem to be key to Cardiff’s impressive unbeaten streak and position at the league top. 🙌⚽
In squad news, the mystery of Gabriel Osho’s absence against Wimbledon was revealed as a precaution, although he should be back in action soon. 🏥🔵 Meanwhile, young talent Isaak Davies is making progress with concussion protocols with hopes for a return to training soon. 🤞
Curiously, no substitute goalkeeper was named in the recent squad, prompting fans to wonder who might step up if needed. Barry-Murphy mentioned it’s all part of the strategy, saying, “We just go with seven outfield sometimes depending on who we think might need support during the game.”
In transfer tales, Jake Dennis has joined Merthyr Town on loan, linking up with fellow Cardiff academy product Will Spiers. Paul Michael, Merthyr’s manager, expressed gratitude for the cooperation with the Bluebirds. 🥅🧤
Finally, a shoutout to Wimbledon’s boss, Johnnie Jackson, who acknowledged Cardiff’s quality after their 4-1 defeat. He praised Cardiff for their relentless performance against his side, proving once again why they’re at the top of the table. 💪🏆
Keep up the fantastic support, Cardiff fans! Let’s carry this momentum forward and continue cheering on the team as they aim for even greater heights! 💙👏
