⚽️ Cardiff City’s busy January transfer window! ⚽️
As January rolls around, Cardiff City is eyeing up some changes to keep their top spot in the League One table! 🥇
Manager Brian Barry-Murphy has highlighted a potential gap in full-back positions, particularly on the left side after Luey Giles went out on loan. With Perry Ng, Ronan Kpakio, and Joel Bagan as the current full-backs, reinforcements may be on the horizon. 🛡️
But it’s not just about bringing in new faces; the focus is also on securing the futures of key players already making waves on the pitch. Players like Ronan, Dylan Lawlor, and Isaak Davies have committed to long-term contracts, which is a massive win for the team! 🔒
In the goalkeeping department, it looks like American goalie Ethan Horvath might be moving on as he seeks regular playtime before the World Cup, with interest coming from various clubs, including some MLS teams. Meanwhile, Jak Alnwick could also be saying his goodbyes as interest builds around him. 🧤
The club is keen on ensuring young talents get time on the pitch, with potential loan moves for midfielders Dakarai Mafico and Tanatswa Nyakuhwa. Plus, striker Michael Reindorf, back from Newport County, is set to head out again in search of more game time. 🚀
