🚍 Heads up, Cardiff! Bus fares are gearing up for a change for the first time in 14 months, starting Sunday, 3rd March. Here’s what you need to know:

💷 The main Cardiff adult single fare goes up by just 10p, from £2.50 to £2.60. If you’re a regular, weekly passes will see a £1 bump to £19.

🎟️ Ticket bundles are affected too. The three-day ticket pack increases by £1, and the young persons’ freedom ticket—perfect for those aged 5-15—jumps from £12 to £14 for 12 trips.
🚍 Travelling beyond Cardiff? Standard adult singles to spots like Dinas Powys, Sully, or Barry now cost £2.90, with some routes to Barry priced at £3.20. If you’re making your way from Newport or the Vale of Glamorgan, plan for a single fare of £3.70.
🔖 Still, some good news! The app-exclusive school run ticket, valid for one adult and three kiddos, stays put at £6.50. Family and group ticket prices remain unchanged too!
📱 Looking for the best deals? Cardiff Bus suggests using their app for cheaper deals! An adult single on the app is 25p cheaper, at £2.35. Plus, a monthly ‘to go’ ticket promises unlimited travel for just £2.30 a day!
🕶️ Young travellers under 21—your fares are safe! Enjoy the reduced £1 single bus fares and £3 all-day travel with the My Travel Pass or for ages 5-16!
So, lace up your travel shoes and get ready for the changes. Whether it’s work, school, or just heading out for a day, there’s still plenty of ways to save on your journey. Safe travels! 🚏🚌✨
