🎬 Big news for Cardiff! After more than 20 amazing years, Vue Cinema at Stadium Plaza on Wood Street is closing its doors for good at the end of this month. Since taking over the site in 2005, it’s been a beloved spot for film fans in the city centre.
The exact closing date hasn’t been set yet, but Vue promises to keep the magic alive until the final curtain call, ensuring Cardiff cinemagoers enjoy every bit of the big screen experience.
Vue is currently in talks with its dedicated staff, who are understandably concerned about potential redundancies. The focus is on supporting these team members, who have been at the heart of ensuring our movie nights were always special.
While it’s a tough goodbye for the city’s film enthusiasts, there’s still time to catch a few more flicks before the final show. What’s your favourite memory from Vue Cinema Cardiff? Share your stories below! 🍿✨
