🚨 Heads up, laundry lovers! 🚨

Before you hang clothes out to dry, here’s a pollen alert you might want to know about! 🌼☀️ experts are warning us that our fresh laundry could be doubling as a pollen magnet. Gardener José María has shared how pollen can sneak into your fabric, leaving many of us sneezing and wheezing! 🤧
Here’s the lowdown: Tree pollen kicks off the show from late March to mid-May, followed by grass pollen, which peaks twice from mid-May to July, and weed pollen sticks around until September. Depending on where you live, the pollen party might start early or late, with some areas catching a break.

Allergy expert Deborah Grayson and others agree: hanging clothes outside during high pollen days can capture those sneaky pollen particles in your fabrics, especially thicker materials like towels and bed linen. 😬
What to do? Try drying indoors when the pollen count is high. If you’ve been outside, toss your clothes straight into the wash. And while you’re at it, change your bedding weekly and wash it at high temperatures.
Got some fresh air tips too: airing out your rooms for a short burst midday can help, and when venturing outside, sunglasses can be your best friend against pollen attacks. 🕶 Plus, if allergies have you down, consider an FFP2 or specific anti-pollen mask to keep those particles at bay.
Let’s keep our homes sneeze-free this pollen season. Stay informed and keep calm! 🌿✨ #pollenproblems #laundrytips #allergies #pollenalert #StayInTheKnow
