Now, if you’re hitting the beach, remember jellyfish might be sharing the waters with you. The NHS advises that most stings aren’t serious and can be treated on the spot. Here’s how:

🤕 First Aid Tips:
– Rinse the sting with seawater (skip the fresh water).
– Carefully remove any spines with tweezers or a bank card.
– Soak the area in hot water (as hot as you can handle) for at least 30 mins.
– Take painkillers like paracetamol or ibuprofen if needed.

🚫 Avoid:
– Peeing on the sting (trust us, it doesn’t work!)
– Applying ice or cold packs.
– Touching tentacles or spines with your bare hands.
– Covering the wound.

Jellyfish aside, enjoy the sun and sand, and stay safe! If in doubt, always seek local medical advice. And remember, lifeguards are there to help. 😊🏖️
