🌟 Exciting News for Our Seniors! 🌟
The fabulous Dame Prue Leith, known for her delightful treats and charm, is stepping into the tech world! She’s teamed up with Currys to offer FREE AI Confidence Sessions for those over 65, aiming to turn nervous tech beginnings into empowering adventures in artificial intelligence (AI). 🎉🤖
Why? Because a whopping 94% of our lovely seniors feel uneasy about potential AI scams. But fear not—Prue herself shared she was once worried she’d be caught out by scams too! Now, she’s harnessing the power of AI to perfect her culinary creations and streamline her writing process. If Prue can do it, so can you! 🍰📘
With Currys and charity Independent Age, the goal is to build trust and understanding, giving older generations the tools they need in a digital world, from safe browsing to using ChatGPT without a hitch. 🧑💻✨
Marion, 69, from Newcastle, shared how she went from cautious to confident: “AI is a blast! From finding recipes and ticket prices, to sorting daily activities and getting gardening tips, it’s brought so much ease and fun!”
The truth is, many seniors want to dive into AI but just need a guiding hand. Over half say they’d feel comfortable using AI if explained clearly. Whether it’s planning holidays, getting tech help, or sending emails, let AI open new doors and make life a tad smoother! ✈️💌
Catrin Hale of Currys added, “The myth that older folks aren’t interested in AI? Let’s bust it! It’s about building the confidence to try, and we’re thrilled to welcome our seniors to these sessions.”
Ready to join the tech-savvy club? The three-month pilot kicks off soon in several UK locations: Birmingham, Brent Cross, Solihull, and more. Don’t miss out—reserve your spot today and shift from tech-timid to AI-ace! 📅💪
Let’s empower each other and make the digital age accessible to all, because learning never stops! 🌍💫
